Candy Sonic Studios is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial sales professional to join our team in a commission-based client acquisition role. As our Client Acquisition Specialist, you will play a vital part in driving the growth and success of our independent music production and creative services business.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect, identify, and secure new clients for Candy Sonic Studios, including independent artists, bands, producers, and music industry professionals.
- Build and maintain an extensive network within the local and regional music community, leveraging relationships to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to effectively position Candy Sonic Studios' services and secure client engagements.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and goals, then tailor creative solutions that drive successful outcomes.
- Work in tandem with the Candy Sonic Studios production and creative teams to ensure all client projects are delivered to the highest standard.
- Provide ongoing client support and relationship management to foster long-term partnerships and secure repeat business.
- Contribute to the development of innovative marketing and promotional initiatives to raise awareness of Candy Sonic Studios' capabilities and offerings.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based position, where your earning potential is directly tied to your ability to acquire new clients for Candy Sonic Studios. You will receive a 10% commission on the total revenue generated by any new client you successfully bring to the company.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition roles within the music industry or a related creative field.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of the independent music landscape, including emerging trends, key players, and industry dynamics.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and securing new business through strategic, relationship-driven approaches.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to thrive in a highly competitive, commission-based environment.
- Passion for independent music and a genuine enthusiasm for helping artists and industry professionals achieve their creative and commercial goals.
