In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for dressing and styling our diverse roster of music artists, ensuring their visual presentation aligns seamlessly with their brand identity and creative vision.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with our branding and marketing teams to develop cohesive style concepts that enhance the artist's image and support their overall brand strategy.

- Immerse yourself in the energy, personality, and creative direction of each artist to authentically translate their unique aesthetic into their stage presence and public-facing image.

- Curate and coordinate all elements of the artist's wardrobe, including clothing, accessories, and grooming, for live performances, photoshoots, music videos, and other promotional appearances.

- Guide the artists through the process of embodying their designated persona, providing style advice and emotional support to help them feel confident and perform at their best.

- Maintain an extensive network of fashion designers, stylists, and industry contacts to source cutting-edge, exclusive, and often custom-made pieces for your clients.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, emerging designers, and cultural influences to ensure your style choices remain innovative and on the pulse of the music industry.

- Manage the logistics of fittings, transportation, and wardrobe maintenance to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience for the artists and production teams.

- Contribute to the overall creative direction and brand development of Candy Sonic Studios, offering insights and recommendations to enhance the visual impact of our clients' music projects.

Compensation:

This position offers a per-project compensation model, where you will be paid a competitive rate for each artist styling engagement you complete for Candy Sonic Studios' music industry clients. Your compensation will be directly tied to the scope and complexity of the work, ensuring that your focus remains on delivering exceptional, commercially viable styling solutions that contribute to the success of our clients' music projects.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional stylist, with a strong portfolio of work in the music and entertainment industries.

- Demonstrated ability to interpret an artist's brand, personality, and creative vision, and translate that into compelling, authentic, and visually striking style choices.

- Keen eye for detail, fashion trends, and the ability to anticipate the evolving aesthetic preferences of music fans and the industry at large.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to forge close relationships with artists and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Intuitive understanding of the emotional and psychological aspects of style, and the ability to guide artists through the process of embodying their persona.

- Proactive problem-solving skills and the flexibility to adapt to the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the music industry.

- You do not need to have a degree, but a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Styling, or a related field; advanced degree or specialized training preferred.
