Job Listing - Music Producer

Candy Sonic Studios, a leading creative production house, is seeking an experienced and talented music producer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a deep understanding of both analog gear and the artistic needs of musical artists.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with recording artists to understand their creative vision and translate it into exceptional musical productions.

- Demonstrate expertise in operating and optimizing a wide range of analog recording equipment, including vintage microphones, mixing consoles, and outboard gear.

- Contribute your extensive knowledge of pop music history, production techniques, and the rich legacy of the Motown sound to elevate the creative output of our clients.

- Work closely with our in-house engineering team to ensure the seamless integration of analog and digital production workflows.

- Mentor junior producers and engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Actively participate in the ongoing development of Candy Sonic Studios' production capabilities, identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion.

Compensation:

Instead of a traditional salary, this position offers a unique revenue-sharing model. As the music producer, you will be entitled to 15% ownership of the royalties generated from each song you produce for Candy Sonic Studios' clients. This means your compensation will be directly tied to the commercial success of the music you help create, aligning your interests with those of the artists and the company.

You will only be compensated once the songs you produce start generating revenue, ensuring that your focus remains on creating high-quality, commercially viable musical works.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 10 years of experience as a music producer, with a proven track record of collaborating with a diverse range of recording artists and genres.

- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with analog recording gear, including microphones, mixing consoles, outboard effects, and studio workflows.

- Deep understanding of pop music history, production trends, and the influential Motown sound.

- Exceptional musical and technical skills, with the ability to translate artistic vision into professional-grade recordings.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with artists, engineers, and other production team members.

- Bachelor's degree in Music Production, Sound Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
