Candy Sonic Studios is a media services startup in the process of building our team. We are seeking a versatile Freelance Video Editor to join our creative team. As our Completely Remote Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing all types of video content, from long-form projects to short-form reels and TikToks.

Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Edit raw video footage into cohesive, engaging final products across a variety of formats

•⁠ ⁠Expertly incorporate visual effects, graphics, music, and other multimedia elements as needed

•⁠ ⁠Demonstrate proficiency in editing for different social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate closely with our in-house creative team to bring their visions to life

•⁠ ⁠Meet deadlines and project milestones with a high level of professionalism

•⁠ ⁠Maintain exceptional attention to detail and quality standards

Qualifications:

•⁠ ⁠Extensive experience as a video editor, with a robust portfolio showcasing your diverse skill set

•⁠ ⁠Mastery of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and/or DaVinci Resolve

•⁠ ⁠Proven ability to edit videos for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and more

•⁠ ⁠Strong storytelling and creative abilities to craft compelling video content

•⁠ ⁠Excellent time management skills and the discipline to work independently in a remote setting

•⁠ ⁠Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team

Compensation:

This is a commission-based freelance role, where you will earn 25% of the total project value for each video editing job you complete for Candy Sonic Studios. Your earning potential is uncapped, as your compensation will be directly tied to the success and profitability of the projects you work on.
